Dead Sea salt is known for its unique and rich mineral composition. Unlike ordinary seawater, the Dead Sea contains high amounts of magnesium, as well as calcium and potassium. In skincare, magnesium is valued for its ability to support the skin’s natural protective barrier and maintain moisture balance (1). Scientific studies confirm that bathing in a magnesium-rich Dead Sea salt solution improves skin hydration, softens the skin, and helps reduce roughness. (2, 3)
Nature’s Design natural coarse Dead Sea salt from Jordan is mineral-rich with a high magnesium content. Suitable for enriching bath water, it provides skin care and overall body relaxation.
Directions for use (healthy adults)
- For body:
- Add approximately 250 g of salt to warm bath water (37–38 °C). For a more intensive treatment, you may increase the amount up to 700 g.
- Soak for 15–20 minutes.
- Rinse your skin with lukewarm water to remove any salt residue.
- Recommended for use 2–3 times per week.
- For feet:
- Add 50–100 g of salt to 5 liters of warm water (38–40 °C).
- Soak your feet for 15–20 minutes.
