Glucosamine is a natural compound that is also found in the human body and plays an important role in the biochemical composition of articular cartilage. It helps maintain and restore the structure of cartilage. Like glucosamine, chondroitin is a component of articular cartilage, on which the elasticity of the joints depends and which, in addition to preventing cartilage damage and wear, also promotes the synthesis of synovial fluid. Therefore, both glucosamine and chondroitin contribute to the normal functioning of joints and cartilage tissue.
Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a natural sulfur compound that is involved in the formation of cartilage tissue by participating in the production of collagen. In addition, together with glucosamine, they enhance each other’s effects. Collagen is the main protein that forms connective tissue in our body, including tendons, ligaments and cartilage. Collagen thus helps to support the structure of joints. Ginger (Zingiber officinale) extract and bitter orange (Citrus Aurantium) bioflavonoid complex contain antioxidants, which is why they have anti-inflammatory properties and help relieve joint pain and stiffness.
