Omega-6 and omega-3 are essential polyunsaturated fatty acids. Omega-6 has pro-inflammatory and omega-3 anti-inflammatory properties. Both control each other's metabolism and thus the processes that take place in the human body. Nowadays, dietary intake of omega-6 fatty acids is higher compared to omega-3 fats. It means that their ratio is no longer balanced and health problems can occur. Although useful omega-3 fats are found in fatty fish, like anchovies and salmon, people do not consume enough seafood.
The fish oil in the softgels comes from Peruvian anchovies (Engraulis ringens) caught in South American Pacific waters. The principles of sustainable fishing have been followed to preserve the ecosystem of ocean. ISO 22000 and GMP standards have been strictly followed at all stages to ensure the quality of fish oil. In addition, fish oil is in the form of triglycerides, and no synthetic or unnecessary excipients have been added. The purpose of this is to ensure better body absorption.
